Pool Store selling "bleach", or the pool store blinked!

I was picking up CYA at the pool store today, and beside it was the 5 litre jugs of liquid chlorine, and the label read "concentrated bleach formula" and sodium hypochloride prominent on the front of the label. Egad, the word bleach in a pool store - what's the world coming to.

I know! GASP!! Our swim suits are all gonna fade from swimming in bleach water!! NOT!!!!!!!!!

Pool pros have referred to liquid chlorine as 'bleach" or 'Pool Bleach" for years, particularly in areas where the use of it is common. It's what is is, after all!

I'd like to know what the pool store guys would say if asked: "Is this the same kind of bleach as laundry bleach?".

When I was asked I would say "yeah, just twice the strength so you need half as much"
