Default Putting up house for sale ... pool?

Well, we're moving. Away from my pool ... I will miss you pool! I will be staying for awhile while to take care of things and put house up for sale. I just purchased a solar cover (which now I need to keep off the pool so potential buyers can see the pool) and last year purchased the fancy winter cover that anchors down.

I'm planning on fixing a "pool" book with info in it for the next people who get to live here and splash in the pool. What type of things should I put in there?

Of course the link to this forum!
    Pool store contact name/number

I'm planning on leaving all these covers for whoever moves in here ... is that what I should do?

    Thanks for your advice!

And, I think my pump just went out! ACK! Well, that will have to fixed NOW because I'm still here and still swimming. I thought it might make it through one more season ... but it's time for a new one. I'll have to call the pool store tomorrow because I (not dh) work on any pool stuff ... and I don't work on pumps!

Any tips on transferring to new owner? I appreciate your advice! This is a great forum!

(I'm thinking positive that our house will sell fast ... and it's not even listed yet! ... think some people have heard about it because there's been some people driving by ... ) I'm listing with a Realtor ... because that's what Dave Ramsey would do. I'm a big fan. Plus, I don't have time to deal with all that paperwork, etc. I have to work on getting this house in the best shape I can in the shortest amount of time!
    Blessings,

That is great of you to do that for the future owners. If you leave the link to the forum, that will be the biggest help of all.

I'd leave an instruction sheet for how to backwash your filter. Also leave the book for the pump/filter and heater and also a note of how old each of them is. Maybe a brief sheet with pool opening and closing directions. Leave a set of test results taken by you at the last possible moment so they will have something to work with.
