    Default Suggested Sticky Topic

    The topic would be something like:

    How to Shock

    So many newbies don't understand what proper shocking is or how to do it. When told to shock their pool, they run to the pool store or home depot. As a result, well, we all know what ends up happening. I don't think a lot of people get that when it is said "you need to shock your pool" it means adding bleach to raise FC to a very high level for a short period.

    Just a thought...

    I'd seen it, I was just thinking it might be good to give it a little more visibility and a little more thorough explanation (maybe not). It always amazes me when I talk to people who use bleach to sanitize also go buy shock products at the store.
