Default Where to get 31.45% muriatic acid?

I've been using quite a bit of acid as I'm lowering the TA in my pool. I originally had a supply of 31.45% (20 degree Baume) provided by my former pool service, but now I'm buying my own and can only seem to find 14.5% acid -- that's what Lowe's and Home Depot sell.

Does anyone know where I can find the stronger stuff? I live in Tucson AZ.

Try the smaller hardware stores. I just bought 31.45% from my local Do it Best. It probably wasn't the cheapest, but hey, the nearest Big Box Store is 40 mins away...

Also check the pool supply stores. They generally carry the 'good stuff".

Thanks y'all. I found it at a hardware store / lumber yard here. Now that I know the kinds of ripoffs the pool supply stores engage in, I avoid giving them my business whenever possible :-)

Don't know where you are in the country, but if you have a Tractor Supply Store nearby they have it for the cheapest price around here...

Sometimes they have the best prices on acid AND there are some things that you can only get at a pool store so don't cut off you nose to spite your face. In many areas liquid chlorine and acid are cheapest at the pool store.
