low alkalinity
Ok...so I have a 2500 splash pad (slide, water features). For the last couple weeks I can't keep my alkalinity up. I am continually adding alkalinity increaser & hours later it is at a 50. Combined Chlorine is .2, ph staying at a 7.4, calcium is 200, Acid is 30...please help!

Re: low alkalinity
It's predictable that with constant aeration you'll lose alkalinity as carbon dioxide leaves the system. You might be able to slow it down a bit by letting the pH rise up to 7.8 or so.

I'm going to close this one.
