Neighbor asks to borrow my pool robot
I have an IG pool, and am using a new Dolphin Triton ps to clean it. The college student helping me with yard and pool has asked to borrow the robot to use in his parent's pool while they are out of town. He has used it in my pool when I was out of town, so he's experienced with it (and also trustworthy). Normally, I would say yes, but . . .
Somewhere (possibly in this forum, but I cannot find it) I seem to remember that a pool robot that is "smart" enough to learn the shape of the pool it is being used in can become confused if placed into a pool with a different shape.
If this jogs anyone's memory, please respond. Will loaning the robot for 1-2 uses cause my robot's brains to become scrambled, and eventually lead to it doing a worse job in cleaning my pool once I get it back?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Re: Neighbor asks to borrow my pool robot
The Dolphin specs don't indicate that the unit has a 'memory' for pool shape. But if you like, use the Super Search page to search both PoolForum and TroubleFreePool for Q&A on the topic. Google knows my site -- and all the others -- much better than those sites internal search functions! Please note: the Super Search page does NOT search directly; it only CREATES special Google links, that enable a FOCUSED Google search!
