Canpressure-side robotic cleaners stop algae?
Can users of pressure-side robotic cleaners tell me if they noticed an improvement in algae control, not because the cleaner's mesh bag has the ability to capture the microscopic stuff, but because it sweeps it up into the water column so the main filter can filter it? Pool is seldom used, otherwise swimming activity would kick up any algae that's beginning to take hold on the liner. I get algae despite good water chemistry. (not a lot of algae, but enough to aggravate me)

I haven't noticed that my Polaris is any help with preventing mustard algae. It does help after shocking and clarifying and vacuuming to keep the residual stuff stirred up and going through the filter. Good luck!
