Re: Is it only Dolphin Dynamic's with the problems?
My poolbuster is wonderful, too--right now my Polaris is being rebuilt, and the Poolbuster is cleaning the whole pool--18 x 36 IG. usually not too much stuff in it, but when DH mows the grass, sometimes I think he points the thing directly at the pool!! It's the best money I've spent on pool equipment yet

It won't do my whole pool (20x40) on a single charge though. But that isn't why I got it.
If it's still under warranty contact them immediately! You have a bad battery in your battery/motor pack.
They should replace it for free. If you're moderately handy, replacing the pack takes about 30 minutes, if they send it to you, rather than having you send the unit it. It should EASILY vacuum your entire pool on a single charge with plenty left over. You may not be using it for that but the problem will get worse.
I went through that. I think I was the first to try the PB, and loved it--still do. But I complained that battery life was short. Finally, after 2 years, I called them--they couldn't give me a new battery since the warranty was a year dead, but they tossed in an extra charger since I had misplaced mine. I was really sorry I hadn't taken care of it under warranty--the battery/motor (which is the guts of the thing) was $79.
Was it worth it? Darn straight it was! The PB is like a different animal--like it was super-charged! And I have yet to have it run out. With the old pack it did a good job, but if I didn't watch the charge, it would be dead when I needed it.
PoolBuster svc told me that isn't right--and they were right. I can't complain about them--they did fine by me. So call them and get it fixed! You'll be glad you did.
I also got the finer filter and it's terrific. They sell additionally paper filters that are disposable and even finer but I have found no need for them..
