Ditto! Well, ditto to the dimension part, I don't know if I like it yet. I'll let you know in a month or so. We're at gunite and hopefully we'll have water soon.Quote:

Mine is 3.5 on all sides and goes to 5 ft in the center. It's perfect for us.
I have a 16X32 Kidney with a 3.5 ft shallow end going to 6.5 ft deep end. In spite of the rule no diving some of my daughters friends will push the envelope of what I consider to be a dive. That and the cannonballs makes me glad that it was at least this deep.
I really like my pool, it is 3.5' / 5.5' / 4'
The taller guys usually play volleyball from the 4' deep end and the shorter people play from the 3.5' deep side.
From what I read and hear. Sport pools are good, but if you have kids or your still a kid :p , I say get a pool w/ deep end. That way you can jump into the pool. Not to say getting you need to get a diving board, but w/ my two children it seems that they love to jump. My oldest on our boat; all he would do is jump off and climb in and keeep going back and forth doing it.
Were getting a deep end pool and since our kids like to jump and do not want a diving board. We will be adding a jumping rock (big rock that close to the pool ledge) and they can get higher air before the splash.
