It is a coast to coast chain with 487 retail stores that first opened in 1922 and 90% of Canadians are supposed to live within a 15 minute drive of one. Multi-line centered around automotive, housewares, diy, seasonal and recreation. Some stores carry a bit of groceries.

Prices are ok, generally no worse than the pool store. The 12% liquid chlorine is about the only item that is flat out the best price. One of the few places to have polyquat though - It's 40% and $12 a litre but the pool stores don't carry it.

Thanks; that's worthwhile info. About 5% of the new registrants this year have been Canadian; that's a little higher than previous years.
