Soda Ash vs. Borax

I took the document titled "Water Chimistry for Swimming Pools" that was linked on another thread and boiled it down to two double-sided pages to use as a handy reference since it has some nice tables for adding chemicals.

To raise pH, they have a table for using Soda Ash but not one for Borax. Does anyone know if those amounts work with Borax as well?

I would be happy to post the document up but I did modify the recommended free chlorine numbers with the ones from Ben's best guess chart as the ones here seemed low (1 to 3 ppm) so I don't want to post something that I personally modified.
