Pool Pilot Total Digital with Jandy Aquapure 1400
Can one the the Pool Pilot Total Digital to feed acid automatically with the Jandy 1400?
My friend has the Jandy Unit.
Which Stenner pump should one use.
His pool is 20,000 gals and he maintains his acid manually at 7.5, about 16 oz a day. As he is retired and plays a lot of Golf he sometimes forgets to do it and wants to automate it.
I told him I really like the Pool Pilot unit but I do not know if they would work together.
Any idea on cost would be helpful.
Thank you to all who respond.
Re: Pool Pilot Total Digital with Jandy Aquapure 1400
I do not believe so since it's made to interface with a special model of pool pilot but there are automatic pH controllers that can control a dosing pump or CO2 injector that can be added to ANY pool, SWG or not. They are not cheap and do require adjustments and maintenance on a regular basis.
Units are available from Polaris (yes, the ones that make the automatic pool cleaners, under the Watermatic name), Chemtrol and Rolachem, to name a few.

Waterbear,
Thank you for the reply. You are right they are not cheap $1,000 to $1,400. Not sure if he wants to swing for that. Might go for the Stenner Adjustable pump and set it to feed 16 oz while the pump is running. This might run around $500 delivered.
Aloha.
