Glass Tileing A Pool
I am fortunate in that I am able to purchase 1 x 1 glass tile at a good discount for our 9000 gal pool. A tile installer friend will install for $2.00 a sq ft (seems reasonable). It measures 32 x 9 x 4.0 to 4.5 deep (approximately 9000 gals). With allowance for overage about 1000 sq ft. Re-plastering in Honolulu costs $8500 without tile line (ridiculous) so this is price competitive as glass should last at least 50 years.
The questions are which thin set and which grout to use. Bob Villa's web site recommends mixing Microban.

For the grout he recommends SpectraLOCK or Kerapoxy. Does anyone have experience with this grout? Which thin set would be the best? As I live in Honolulu and we do have the occasional earthquake something that is flexible would be good as the ground does shift.
To those that reply thank you in anticipation.
Please excuse the double post but I do not know how to delete a post.
