Need the Filter experts help asap?

My crappy Sand filter blew out on me the other day (probably the issue with my pump sputtering. Either way, I am going to go with DE filter this time around and want to keep my Pentair 2 speed pump. I am looking at the Pentair FNS Plus DE. Will I have an issue with connections if my pump has 1 1/2 inlet and outlet ports and the filter has 2" ports?

Any quick help is appreciated since I still need to get some winterizing done and need a filter.

Mike, no trouble with the different sized pipes, all you need is a bushing (reducer0 to convert from 1.5" to 2". There are also specialty male adapters that have 1.5" threads and a 2" socket. It's pretty easy stuff but if you need more info, you know where to ask.

BTW - make sure the filter is large enough to handle the pump on high speed;)
