These are the results I just got back from the Pool Store.
FC 2.4
TC 3.2
CC 0.8
TA 131
pH 7.6
CYA 47
This is after adding 4# of CYA and letting the pump run for about 4 days to let it all dissolve.
I have a 11,000 AG vinyl liner pool.
Any suggestions as to how the numbers look and what I should do?

Your numbers don't look bad, except that I would shock it to get rid of that CC. Also, I'm not so sure that your CYA has finished dissolving in the water--it wouldn't suprise me to see it increase a bit more. How does the water look?Quote:

It can take up to a week or so for all of it to dissolve.

Just don't backwash. You don't need to run the pump.
But you do need to get your FC up to shock levels to get rid of that CC. I believe 15 is the FC you need. Then you should be just fine.

When do you need to shock a pool?
When ever there is a trace of CC?
