Anyone try this pool brush?
I saw this brush and would appreciate knowing if anyone has tried it. The idea seems good, the "fin" going through the water forces the brush down. I've thought about adding weight to my brush sometimes, especially in the deep end.

Re: Anyone try this pool brush?
I actually started using a soft bristled spraybrush system on a telescoping pole unit thats intended for fiberglass RVs for pool brushing/cleaning instead - it hooks to the hose at the back END of the pole where the on/off setting is, telescopes WAY out to get up high on the diesal pusher RV motorhomes so it goes way out/down for pools with deep ends - sprays out a nice strong flow at the brush and the bristles are ultra soft so as not to scratch or damage the fiberglass on RVs but then will not damage my vinyl liner. Aggressive brushing really can damage the liners. The bristles don't NEED to be stiff to clean because the water jet does it. The brush head is heavy and goes right down. Cost $27 at Lowes.
Re: Anyone try this pool brush?
Sounds interesting too, and the cost is reasonable. Any brand on the brush? No Lowes in Canada, so I would like to do a search if there is a product or maker's name. Thanks.
New liner coming in soon and I'm getting geared up:D
Re: Anyone try this pool brush?
I can't for the life of me remember the brand and I think the label came off when it went in the water, but I know I saw almost the exact same thing at our local Menards (there is one at International Falls, MN and Wisconsin is full of them) and one of the hardware stores so I guess its a fairly common type of item - someone else mentioned using one due to the really soft brush head and the water jet. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely it worked.
Re: Anyone try this pool brush?
Other than the steps, I never have to brush my pool..... my cleaner gets all the walls real nice.
Re: Anyone try this pool brush?
I have a wall whale; it does exacty what the manufacturer claims it will.

Canadian Tire has them. Great store! In the automotive section.

Thanks very, very much. Now to hunt one down in Canada, eh.
Re: Anyone try this pool brush?
I have one and it works great. Makes brushing the walls much easier.
Re: Anyone try this pool brush?
Yes, I bought one last season and it does work. It's particularly beneficial in the deep end going down those long walls. You will noticed the reduced effort immediately. Not such a big difference in the shallow end, of course, but still noticeably better. Also, I still use my old "regular" brush around the steps because the whale tail won't easily fit into all the crevices in that area. I think it is a worthwhile purchase.
