Oily Deck Stain on vinyl Liner

Hi Group!
We had to pressure wash and stain/seal the deck that is all the way around the pool. Now I know we should have done it while it was still covered, so you can call me stupid for sure!
Anyway, of course overspray got all in the air, then landed on the top of the water. Now, the oily stuff is all around the pool at the water line!
What in the world can I use to remove it? I does come off, so it hasnt actually stained the liner, but, you have to scrub really hard and just forever using a Magic Eraser.
