How to remove the stains is going to depend on what caused them in the first place. Have you already tried rubbing them with vitamin C?Quote:

I have the same problem around my main drain. Brushing has lightend the stain but it is still there. I also raised the pool to shock level and that didn't help. The stain has been there since we opened the pool this season. There was a lot of worms aroung the main drain when we opened this season. The pool has a vinyl liner. If I am going to try the Vitamin C do I put it in anything or do I just rub the acutual tablet on it?
PS
I swam down this weekend and tried a Mr Clean magic eraser and that did nothing.
