CYA / stabilizer at stores?
Ok, for the standard store stuff (home depot/Walmart):
Chlorine-Bleach at WalMart
Alkilinity Increaser-Baking Soda at WalMart
PH down-Muratic Acid (for my Aquarite SWG) at Home Depot
Salt-Water Softener Salt at Home Depot
Can you get CYA at any non-pool stores? If so, where and what form/brand?
Any other chemicals I'm missing that I might need?
thanks!
(Vinyl lined, 33k gallons, Aquarite SWG)
Re: CYA / stabilizer at stores?
I've seen CYA at some Walmart stores, and Lowe's too, I believe.
Re: CYA / stabilizer at stores?
I think you mean pH down is muriatic acid :)
I bought a jug of CYA from Kmart a couple seasons ago. I still have some in it, and they still sell it :)

Re: CYA / stabilizer at stores?
Sorry, yes that is PH down on the Muratic Acid and I have corrected!
The CYA at K-mart.....is this in the pool supplies or somewhere else?
thanks!
Re: CYA / stabilizer at stores?
It should be with the pool supplies,if ain't mistaken it has a green lid on,and says Stabilizer.....

Re: CYA / stabilizer at stores?
CYA may be labeled as stabilizer or conditioner. Check the ingredient label and if it says cyanuric acid or isocyanuric acid it is the right stuff.
