pool construction not all bad !!

I feel i have to put a comment on the forum about pool builders. Yes there are some jerks around . And i was hesitant about having a pool built and even more about doing it owner builder (Wife thought i was mad) but after talking with a local contractor, and various PBs we decided to go ahead.
We used independant contractors reccomended by the local contractor who did the steelwork i did the eletrical run and put in an upgraded 60 amp panel to cope with a proposed seperate hot tub for later.
Week 1 dig on monday /tues steel on wednesday.
week 2 plumbing on tues/ wed inspection on friday.
Week3 gunite on tuesday followed by tile and coping on friday.
week 4 no work as wet and concrete finisher busy.
week 5 decking poured thurs
week 6 plaster on tuesday filled by wed 4pm swimming by sunday Bit cold in oct.

We had no problems with any of the people involved or with any of the work and we have a really great pool finished in a short time. So if you are thinking of having a pool done please remember that people only ***** when things go wrong we had good work done by helpfull people who caused no problems and virtually no mess .
