More pool store "folly"

Finally, relunctantly took a water sample in to the pool store. Their highly sophisticated test strip test showed:

TA was low at 50ppm
Combined chlorine was 2.5ppm!

Of course they wanted to sell me all kinds of stuff to fix these problems, I declined. I immediately went home and did my Taylor test, TWICE, here's what I show:

FC: 7.5
CC: 0
PH: 7.6
TA: 150

Had I followed their recommendation of 8lbs of PH up! my pool would have been a mess. In their defense, the CH and CYA levels they showed were close to my results.

Unbelieveable.
