Polaris 340 or 360 Question.
I've got the 340 and so far It works great.
Climbs the walls and sucks up everything in it's path.
My question is "is it ok to leave this in the pool"
we have a brand new IG vinyl pool that's still surrounded by dirt;)
and needs constant cleaning.
thanks-
Re: Polaris 340 or 360 Question.
I had a Polaris PS cleaner from the 80s that was left int a pool for over 10 years. Ran every day, and only needed an occasional new filter bag or friction wheel. One would hope they are still made that well today!
Honestly, I've never seen a PS cleaner that wasn't left in 24/7...
Re: Polaris 340 or 360 Question.
We leave our 360 in all the time. Only time we take it out is if we are swimming.
Re: Polaris 340 or 360 Question.
Pool cleaners should be left in the pool so that they can work every time the system comes on. If you do take them out, they must be stord out of the Sun and NEVER coil the hoses. If you do they will be ruined after a short while. I'm sure that someone will reply that they have always coiled the hoses with no problems (there's always an exception) but nearly 20 years in the business say otherwise.
Re: Polaris 340 or 360 Question.
Thanks everyone.
I figured as much but wanted to be sure.
so far I love the 340...It even climbs up the walls.
Picked up loads of dirt(construction)and the pool is spotless.
