My question is.......How low do I need to set my SWG to maintain 3-5ppm FC?
Much lower will be OFF. We have had a week of full sun and my FC sits at 9.

Re: Pool Pilot Setting
Donnie,
Keep bringing the output down to avoid overchlorinating. If you're at 9 ppm at 25%, dropping it to 8 - 12% should get you to about 3-4 ppm.
How many hours per day is your pump running? Do you have the pump connected through the Digital?
Unfortunately this time of year and at these temps, there's not alot of demand for chlorine.
Fortunately, with the Automatic temperature compensation, as the temps increase, the output will increase automatically too.

Re: Pool Pilot Setting
Wow. Thats pretty low on level 1. My pump has been running 24/7 and no the SWG does not control the pump if that is what you are asking. Our low temps are looking like we will not be dropping below freezing any more so I am going to set the timer this weekend so that it runs 12 hours a day. I'll cut it back tonight and keep an eye on it. I just cant believe it can generate that much chlorine at such a low level. Good for me though. Maybe my cell will last forever! Thanks for the help.
