Hehehehehe
FINALLY! I smell success with the pool. Filling with water today...no wrinkles in J-Hook liner...life is good so far.
Lessons learned:
*Putting an AG below ground is a pain. The time and effort was huge. Have to Jumping Jack compact and water heavily, then backfill with rock dust, compact again, screed level....no fun.
*Directions and measurements are not very accurate...mine where way off on the measurements.
*Foam bottoms are very expensive and even though I used the firmest available, it dings easily still. I tested the foam prior to installation and was surprised. I covered it with Gladon Comfy Bottom...the thin stuff and eliminated that problem completey.
*Tape, at least in my case does not stick to foam. Gorilla, 3M, you name it, I had it. 3M spray adhesive 77 cured that. Sprayed the area for taping, let tack and viola...no pulling tape problems.
Though this project was trying, I did have fun. It feels good to be at this point.
Now, a tiered mahogany deck and auto cover....should be completed my 2020!!!
