PH , CYA, TA , CH, Chlorine. I know I need to test for a starting point. Then is there any prefered order to start adjusting?

Warning! Amateur response!
I think everyone will agree that getting pH in line is most important.
pH - CYA - Chlorine - TA - CH (not critical for a FG pool)
Thanks. CH of 200-300ppm required for my heater.

PH will not change much with the addition of chlorine and chlorine level will not change with the addition of acid or PH up so why not do both at the same time? Large Ph change is usually gradual over a few days anyway. Also, CH & CYA level is not affected by any of the others so I would measure all and adjust for PH, CL, CYA and CH all at once. The only thing that is dependent on one another is PH and TA. TA adjustment generally takes a while depending on which direction you go and what your PH level is.
