Just Filled New Pool
So we are in the process of filling the new pool - they completed the finish today. I talked with the PB and he told me not to put any chlorine in the pool for at least 24 hours - which I don't think will hurt anything. The pump is not on and they haven't added anything to the pool. The PB said that he would leave me with some acid, but they didn't. I don't have a brush - the PM for the PB went out of town this weekend, but told me to call him with any questions.
I was going to add some bleach tomorrow night- to bring pool to 3ppm since there is no CYA. Should I go buy a brush - or will it be okay until Monday?

Re: Just Filled New Pool
Well I picked up a whale brush - since I saw many recommendations, a leaf net, a floater and tri-chlor (since I need to lower PH, need chlorine, and need stabilizer). Electricians came out yesterday but didn't bring enough conduit - so there is still no power to the pump equipment.
I tested the water - FC=0, TC=0, PH 8.2+, ALk = 160, CAL= 180, CYA =0. I am going to add acid once the kids get out of the pool - am a little worried since I cannot turn on the pump to circulate the water - I guess I should just brush it in?

Looks Great! May I ask who was your pool builder in Orlando? We just finished ours here too and hope to post pictures soon.
