cleaning up the mustard algae

We've been battling leaks and mustard algae this summer. We've had no time to really enjoy our pool. We plan on getting a new liner next spring, but had to find the leaks in order to fill the pool for the winter. Now that we probably have the leak problem solved and most of the water out of the pool, what do we do to clean up this mustard algae? This has gotten out of hand. Since we are getting a new liner next year, I wouldn't do anything about this algae, but I don't know if we're going to use the pool anymore this summer. If we do, how can we tackle this mustard algae? Can we just go into the emply pool with some bleach and kill it? Thanks.
