Sand for Sandfilter

another Newbie question..............
What sand shall I get for the Sandfilter????

I don't mean for this to sounds facetious--but you need to use filter grade sand. Kiddie play sand isn't the right stuff.

and where would I buy filter grade sand???? What sand is filter grade sand???

Pool stores sell it. Around here (NJ in the NYC metro area) it sells in 50# bags for $5 to $6 a bag. Cheap enough I figure! But in the past it's been as high as $10 to $12 a bag.
