Convinced to build

After much research and more hours reading "How I Built My Own Pool"than one should read at one time I have decided to GC my own pool. I have extensive knowledge of the trades and being a bussiness owner have hired countless sub contractors over the years, having said that I have a very limmited knowledge on builing a pool. I have bought a home in Tallahassee Florida and have had a septic inspection to determine if drainfields were in the way prior to signing the contract,all clear!!! I have plenty of space with no conflicts on setbacks. Has anyone in the Tally area built thier own pool and can you give me any advice on how to get started finding the right subs?
