help. aquabot gets stuck on main drain

i love my aquabot, but it has a nagging problem.
it gets stuck on the main drain.
any suggestions ?

You can buy a mat that goes around the main drain which supposedly keeps robots from getting stuck. They aren't cheap (about 75 bucks) but they seem to work (there were posts about them on the old *lost* forums).

len, that sounds like a very good investment. I have heard of cleaners pulling the liner out of the drain assembly over time. I would check into it and resolve the problem. Keep a close eye on the cleaner in the mean time.

Just did a quick web search. Polaris makes something called a Unicover that goes around main drains. I have seen other brands as well. About 55 on ebay, not sure how much elsewhere.
