Fiber optic bulb replacement

I need a new 250 watt 24 volt 2 pin bulb. They are very expensive from a pool dealer. Any suggestions on where to buy them economically online or elsewhere?

Is it a metal halide bulb? they are expensive anywhere.

Bob, as promised in our pm, I asked the guy who's taken care of dozens of them. He said he always just took the old one down to Ace Hardware and they were able to match it - cost < $10. Hope you can find a replacement for the same $ - Waste :)
