I Replaced The Ignitor In My Jandy Model LT-400-L
The original was definately bad, measuring 0 ohms. I replaced it with a Laars kit and hooked everything back up. Still no ignition but the ignitor measures the correct 50 ohms so it must be power to the ignitor. The heater goes through normal startup and I get a whiff of gas before it faults for lack of flame. Only the service light comes on, no fault lights. Previously the "AGS" did come on. I'm thinking fuse but where to look? Also is it AC or DC and what voltage? Thanks in advance for whatever advise is offered.
Re: I Replaced The Ignitor In My Jandy Model LT-400-L
UPDATE: I figured out how to get into the control area and found the transformer and fuse. Fuse is good but no 24 VAC output but also nothing on the input. Located power to the heater and discovered there's no 240 or 208 even when I heard the fan running. The only thing that makes sense that is it is using just L1 or L2 and finding it's way to ground to get 110. Other than that I am baffled. BTW, I double checked with another meter. Maybe I lost a leg from the breaker or contactor. Heading to 100 deg today so I will look at that tomorrow.
