Ortega Valve Replaement Option
I have a 3-way , 2" Ortega valve that's always hard to turn, always needs maintenance. Is there another type of valve that I could use to replace the Ortega that would screw into the existing 4 screw piping? If so, what type and brand? There's limited space as there are two Ortega's opposite each other with the handles about 6" apart. Thanks much.
Re: Ortega Valve Replaement Option
Unfortunately, I can't offer any help.
For whatever reason, Ortega valves seem to have been a West Coast thing. I've known they existed, but I've never actually seen one, much less worked on one.
So . . . no ideas on how to 'make it better' . . . and traffic on my site is so low now that you are unlikely to get other answers.
Try TroubleFreePool.com, but just be aware that not all answers are good ones, even if they are enthusiastic.
