UV Sanitizer

Hi all,
I am a new in-ground pool owner, struggling with what water treatment system to use. I want minimal unhealthy chemicals, while protecting us from harmful bacteria, viruses and algae. Added expense and maintence time is fine if water quality is better.

I have a Leisure Pool Elegance, 14' 6" x 26' 3" fiberglass pool. It was installed late fall 2016 and we have not opened it yet. We have a sand filter. There will less than three people using it several days a week. One large dog will also likey use it daily.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
