Hey all, just doing the required first post.

I have a 15x30 above grd with only one issue.. returning silt/dirt on pool bottom the following day after vacuuming. I have a 100# sand filter with 1/2 hp hayward pump. Even though the filter does clog and need a backwash during the first few vacs of the year, I thought it was the fingers inside the filter broken, but i have inspected them and they all look good. I replaced the sand while i had it open just because the sand was about 10 yrs old..

I have had this pool about 15 yrs now and the problem really started about 2 yrs ago and seems to get better as the season goes on. meaning less and lees crap on bottom the next after vacuuming. The water is clear and sparkles.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
