Newbie to this site with a Hayward filter question

Having an issue with a perflex de Hayward filter.
First a Story about what happened this winter.

Winter cover ripped and fell into the pool along with leaves and all the other crap. So last week pulled it off and of course everything sunk and was green. So dumped 7 alladin scoops of DE in the skimmer and shocked pool , turned blue but cloudy dumped floc to settle the debris to the bottom. And vaccumed . my issue is the filter for some reason always needs to be bumped like every 30 minutes the flow slows down so much and pressure goes up. I assumed it's very dirty so I backwashed it and put 4 more scoops of DE in after. Filter runs perfect only for it to start doing the same slow flow again couple hours later. Is the pool that dirty or am I missing something. Any help would be great thanks.
