Need advice on pool construction and equipment

I'm getting quotes for a new pool. Both companies pricing is about the same (within $500). I live in Southern Virginia. The pool is on the smaller size 12x32 due to my backyard size. Here are my options:

Option 1: Fort Wayne Elite Polymer, Hayward ProGrid Vertical Grid DE Filter

Option 2: pacific Pools Steel Pool, Hayward StarClear Plus single cartridge filter.

Pump options for both are either:

Hayward Super Pump (single or dual speed)
Hayward TriStar (single or 2 speed)

I would appreciate any info or advice.
