Pool Re-surfacing products

Has anyone had any experience using the Aquaguard 5000 products for pool resurfacing? It sounds almost too good to be true so i was hoping that someone on these forums might have some better information than what i've found doing basic internet searches.

My pool is a concrete in-ground, kidney bean shape, roughly 14k gallons. The surface was terrible when we bought our house in 2009 and now its to the point that i have to seriously consider resurfacing and i was hoping there was a good DIY option that isn't epoxy paint.
