Husband unplugged pump and forgot to plug it back in and we didn't realize for a week. We were at dark green stage algae. Brushed pool and double shocked. No longer green but very cloudy. Changing filter every other day. Double shocked again a few days later. Still cloudy. Just 4x shocked. And changed filter again. Is this just a patience game or should I be doing something else? Can I add chlorine in addition to shock.
