Hello,
I decided to replace the sand in my Hayward S244T sand filter and went with glass sand media. My filter requires 300lb of sand. In switching to glass sand, I only needed 250lbs of glass sand and 50lb of pea gravel. Rookie mistake, but I added 100lb of pea gravel and was only able to use 200lb of glass media. Is this a major issue and should I spend the extra time of emptying the filter and redoing it again? Thank you.
