How to fix the water and maintain my new intex pool.

I just bought an Intex 15' x 48" pool with inflatable ring that came with an intex pump/filter 1000 gtx filter. We set it up this weekend not knowing that we had to do anything more that using 1" chlorine tablets in a chlorine holder. On Sunday it was up. I put one tablet of HTX 4 in 1 chlorine in a dispenser. Two days later the water was clean but sides and bottom were slimy. What do I need to do to fix this problem so we actually get to use it asap?
