Just bought an index 16' x 48" pool. We set it up yesterday and bought an above ground pool starter chemical set. It said to shock the pool first. We think we added too much chemical because it said it treated up to 5,000 gallons. He put in 32 ounces of shock for the pool. Is this too much? What should we do now?
