We have rock coping around our pool and hot tub and are getting close to completion. We're undecided on whether to leave it chiseled or have it cut smooth. Our pool contractor said most folks leave it chiseled but it's not uncommon to have it cut smooth. We like the look but are concerned about the rough chiseled cut against backs or bathing suits.
