New here and my pool is very green.

I was directed here from a bloggers website. She had a lot of good things to say about your site. I'm interested in learning the BBB method. Since it's so late in the year, it may be too late for this summer, but for next. The problem is I just can't afford all the chemicals. So any help will be appreciated.

The pool is 18ft diameter, by 48" deep. I have a big sand pump(I'll get the model # later). I've only been able to use it a couple of times this year.
