PLEASE HELP.....Chemistr is a MESS!!!Pool Cloudy

Ok...M pool was dark green...emptied it 4/5 of wa and found 1 foot of decomposing leaves. Had been heavily shocking pool prior w no success. Got rid of leaves did not completely remove as much water as possible shocked it hard and refilled. pool was still green and cloud. Shocked w/ granular HTH shock again pool blue but very cloud. added clarifyer per instructions. Put in brand new filter cartridge...have cleaned filter daily as it is green and heavily soiled...but pool is cloudy blue. White filter covered in green slime. pH ver low...off charts. FC non-detectable.
Do not have test for CYA.
Dunno what I have done wrong....never heard of using bleach before (ex was a pool-guy). should I start b adding borax to bring up pH???
How do I get rid of cloud water???
