Hayward Power-Flo Marix Pump not working

My Hayward PowerFlo Matrix Pump will not start. Was running fine yesterday, I tried to turn it on today and no sound, nothing. The outlet that the pump is plugged into works fine, (I've tested other plug appliances in that receptacle). I've tried running an extension cord to other outlets in my house, connecting the pump but still does not start. Any ideas? It is less than one year old, and only used for about 2 months last year. I drained it and stored it in my house over the winter.
