Sinking above ground pools- give me your advice please

We are in the beginning stages of researching the type of pool that we will have. With expense being a primary concern, I have been considering the possibility of sinking a Doughboy. It would have Tobe surrounded by decking if partial bury or concrete if a full bury, because a "finished" look is also important to us. Our backyard is going to be a gathering space for friends & family so appearance along with function are priorities. Give me your input... Good, bad, pretty, & ugly. And please understand that we are in the initial research stages. I'm currently a pool dummy.
