Baquacil surface cleaner...??? Can I use it??

Hi...I just joined the forum and it's been a life saver with my B2B conversion. I'm still in the process and have a question about a pool surface cleaner.

The local pool store said I can use this Baquacil brand surface cleaner (gel) to clean the stairs ,edge and rim of my IG pool. I'm switching from Baquacil and I'm a bit nervous about using anything with "baquacil" written on it!! The pool store said it's safe for all pools no matter the chemicals being used to sanitize, etc...

Anyone have any experience or knowledge about this...?? Thanks.
