Hi! New here! No pool problems, just need to learn.

A little history...
We live in the pacific northwest.
Last summer we bought a home with an 18x35' salt water pool. We moved in the end of July and just brought our sample to a pool store every 2 weeks. Never a problem, a little adjusting here and there. Now that we are in and settled, it's almost pool opening time and I want to actually learn what I'm doing here. I don't know the first thing about pools, how much is different with salt water, for example is there a different testing kit? So many questions! I look forward to learning from you masters.
