Doughboy and Endless Pool's FastLane

I am in the new pool design phase and considering going with a Doughboy 28x16 above-ground installation to compensate for the cost of an Endless Pools Fastlane current generator. I know the Fastlane has a deck mount option but in any pictures I've seen it has been mounted to the concrete deck of in-ground pools. I'm looking for information on deck mounting one to a wood deck in an above-ground installation. I'm also curious about how a current generator might affect the pool itself. Does anyone have any experience with a Fastlane in an above-ground Doughboy?
